Easy-Matic PINBONE REMOVER

The Easy-Matic Pinbone Remover can be manufactured with 1 lane and up till 8 lanes. All the machines are additionally offered as TWIN models.

The machines are produced for pulling out the bones from salmon and trout fillets. Before pinboning the fish, note that the best result is achieved if the fish are no longer in rigor mortis. The machines pull out 90-95% of all pinbones (TWIN model pulls out more bones).

In the production line

All our pinboning machines can work in a production line and can be fed automatically after filleting, with a Kaj Olesen distributor/collector.

The machines are made with a quick release belt. When the belt is removed, the machines are easily cleaned and maintained.

For all our machines we offer a vacuum system for imbibing water and bones, resulting in a nice and clean fillet.

Machines from Kaj Olesen A/S are all manufactured from stainless steel which makes cleaning and maintenance an easy task. Consequently, this saves a lot of money for the customer.

DARK MEAT REMOVER

Combined Easy Matic Dark Meat Remover and pinbone remover.

Easy Matic 1-lane Dark Meat remover uses circular knives to cut away the dark meat from the salmon fillet. The knives and the cutting depth are adjustable. The machine is equipped with a touch screen from which it can be operated. From the screen you can set up the depth of the knives when going through the filet. The size of the filet is automatically measured on the way into the machine.

Capacity: up to 20 fillets per minute.

How does the machine work:

• The knives are adjusted in the right angle manually. See how the knives work
• The size of fillets are shown on the screen.
• Put the fillet on the belt with the dark meat triangle in the laser light.
• Now the fillet runs through the machine and the dark meat is cut from the fillet.

In a very simple way this Dark Meat Remover can be transferred into a Pinbone Remover so you get one machine that can do two jobs, namely remove the dark meat and pull the bones out. The machine is also very easy to clean and maintain.

This machine automatically cuts away the dark meat triangle from the salmon fillet.
On the line it demands no operators.
Can be installed in extension of other conveyor belts.
The speed of the conveyor belt can be adjusted.

This distributor can be built to fit into any filleting lane and into different pinbone removers (1-4 lane etc.).

Collector

Kaj Olesen A/S also offers a collector that can collect the fillets from 4 lanes into 2 lanes among other sizes. The distributor/collector can be tailor-made to fit into nearly every production-line.

Conveyors/transport belts

For the transportation of fish and fish-parts we offer conveyors/belts in nearly all shapes and sizes that additionally makes it possibility to elevate products to different levels.

The conveyors/transport belts are manufactured in a way that makes them very easy to clean and maintain. Made of stainless steel.

Fillet Carousel FC100

The fillet turner is turning the fillets from tail-end first to head-first or the opposite, without using manpower.

With this machine, you can avoid having an operator between the pinbone remover and a potential skinning machine where the tail-end first is needed.

Grinder for Knives

The Kaj Olesen A/S grinder for knives can grind circular knives in the size from Ø 100 – Ø 230mm.

The machine is very easy to  adjust in different angles and is made from stainless steel, making it resistant even to harsh environment. The machine is light weighted and thus easy to handle.

KSL 950 Slicing Machine

The KSL slicing machine is for slicing frozen salmon and has a capacity of up to 250 slices per minute.

The thickness of the slices can be adjusted from 1 mm up to 5 mm and can slice fillets from the smallest to the largest sizes.

At the same time, without the use of any tools, the salmon slicer can be transformed into a tuna-slicer – only by changing the “tower” of the machine. The tower for the tuna loins is an extra option for this machine.

The slicer only needs 380V electricity (for the tuna tower air is needed).

You can have 2 machines in one while saving money and space.

Freezer for the slicing machine

In order to keep salmon sides frozen before slicing, we offer a chest freezer. This will keep the salmon sides at the right temperature and avoid that they will be thawed before slicing.

Trimming line with pinbone remover

This is an example of the way our pinbone remover is working in a production line. The fillet will automatically be fed into the pinbone remover and continues to the section for checkers.

Packing Lines and
Trimming Tables

Packing lines/packing tables in different sizes and for different purposes.

Packing tables with scales, computer control and photocells to stop the conveyor belt when full.

Trimming tables/lines for after trimming are available in  different sizes/shapes – for trimming of 2-lane pinbone removers up to 8-lane pinbone removers.

The lines are made of stainless steel and in that way it secures the highest possible efficiency.
